[Spice_discussion] Error loading event kernel

Thanks for all the help on my Linux/e-kernel issue. It was indeed an endian
problem. The bingo utility provided by Nathaniel Bachman seems to do the
trick of converting from IEEE to PC byte ordering--I am able to load and
query the resulting ek files.
Also, on the NAIF website the kernels are offered already in the transfer
format form, & so the "tobin" utility makes a usable file as suggested
here--but no Solaris system needed.
As a test, running tobin on S14_cmd_pg_full.xes and running bingo on the
native S14_cmd_pg_full.bes yielded identical files usable on a pc.
