New Leapseconds Kernel

If you haven’t already done so, you should replace the soon-to-expire leapsecond kernel (LSK) named naif0011.tls (or naif0011.tls.pc for Windows)  with the new one that takes effect on Saturday December 31 at midnight:  naif0012.tls (or naif0012.tls.pc for Windows). NAIF Job Opening

NASA’s Navigation and Ancillary Information Facility, developers of the “SPICE” observation geometry system used worldwide in support of planetary missions, is looking for a permanent new staff member. Next Toolkit Release (N66)

The NAIF Team is getting ever closer to completing and releasing the next SPICE Toolkit packages, version N66, with primary focus on the official release of the tessellated plate model portion of the new Digital Shape Kernel subsystem (DSK). Yes, it’s been a long time in coming!  Stay tuned for this future announcement.
