[Spice_announce] New NAIF Website

The Navigation and Ancillary Information Facility (NAIF) is pleased 
to announce the availability of the new NAIF website.

   http://naif.jpl.nasa.gov

The website provides access to most products products offered by 
NAIF, such as SPICE kernels, the SPICE Toolkit, SPICE documentation, 
and SPICE tutorials.

We hope this website will simplify your access to SPICE products, and 
will make it easier for newcomers to learn about SPICE.

A continuing problem concerns selection of the proper SPICE kernels 
to meet your needs. The NAIF team is aware that this must be 
addressed by providing better access to descriptive 
information--metadata--about each SPICE kernel.

Please feel encouraged to provide feedback on this new service, 
especially noting what is unclear, what is missing, and what might be 
added to make the site more useful or more easily used.
