About Spice_announce	English (USA)
The JPL Navigation Ancillary Information Facility (NAIF) provides SPICE data and software in support of space science missions. This list distributes announcements made by NAIF staff of general interest to SPICE users; others are not able to post to this list. SPICE users with questions of, or suggestions for, other users may use the general discussion mailing list at spice_discussion . To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Spice_announce Archives.
Using Spice_announce
Since this list is for announcements from the NAIF, general postings are not allowed. Instead, please post to the Spice_Discussion group. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Spice_announce
Subscribe to Spice_announce by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a public list, which means that the list of members list is available to everyone. (but we obscure the addresses so they are not easily recognizable by spammers). Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
