[Spice_announce] NAIF FTP

A new FTP processor was installed on the NAIF server (naif.jpl.nasa.gov) 
on Wednesday 4/03 around 1:00 p.m. PDT to meet new JPL security 
requirements. (This occurred after a two-day unavailability of the 
server.)  The new FTP server is "vsftp", which replaces "wu-ftp."  A 
consequence of this change is that some ftp operations result in 
slightly different displays; this could affect anyone who is using 
scripts to obtain SPICE data from the naif server.

The NAIF system administrator says he expects this new ftp processor to 
remain in place for the foreseeable future--no further changes are 
anticipated.

We regret the inconvenience to NAIF's customers caused by this change.
