Version 001 -- September 03, 2021 -- Marc Costa Sitja, NAIF/JPL Updated LICIA ID namespace from -136XXX to -210XXX. Version 000 -- July 14, 2021 -- Hari Nair, JHU/APL Combined LICIA_PL1_v03.TI and LICIA_PL2_v03.TI References --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. ``Kernel Pool Required Reading'' 2. ``C-kernel Required Reading'' 3. LICIA frames kernel (latest version) Contact Information ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Vincenzo Della Corte, INAF-IAPS, Vincenzo.DellaCorte@inaf.it Hari Nair, JHU/APL, Hari.Nair@jhuapl.edu Marc Costa Sitja, NAIF/JPL, Marc.Costa.Sitja@jpl.nasa.gov Implementation Notes --------------------------------------------------------------------------- This file is used by the SPICE system as follows: programs that make use of this kernel must ``load'' the kernel, normally during program initialization. The SPICE routine FURNSH loads a kernel file into the pool as shown below. CALL FURNSH ( 'frame_kernel_name; ) -- FORTRAN furnsh_c ( "frame_kernel_name" ); -- C cspice_furnsh, frame_kernel_name -- IDL cspice_furnsh( 'frame_kernel_name' ) -- MATLAB Once the file has been loaded, the SPICE routine GETFOV (getfov_c in C, cspice_getfov in IDL and MATLAB) can be used to retrieve FOV parameters for a given instrument or structure. This file was created and may be updated with a text editor or word processor. Conventions for Specifying Data --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Data items are specified using ``keyword=value'' assignments [1]. All keywords referencing values in this I-kernel start with the characters `INS' followed by the NAIF LICIA instrument ID code, constructed using the spacecraft ID number (-210) followed by the NAIF three digit ID number for LICIA_LEIA (100) . These IDs are defined in [4] as follows: Instrument name ID -------------------- ------- LICIA_LEIA -210100 LICIA_LUKE -210200 The remainder of the keyword is an underscore character followed by the unique name of the data item. For example, the focal length of the LICIA_LEIA is specified by INS-210100_FOCAL_LENGTH The upper bound on the length of all keywords is 32 characters. If a keyword is included in more than one file, or if the same keyword appears more than once within a single file, the last assignment supersedes any earlier assignments. These definitions are provided in the format required by the SPICE (CSPICE) function GETFOV (getfov_c). LICIA_LEIA and LICIA_LUKE FOV ----------------------------------------------------------- The set of assignments in the data section below defines the LICIA_LEIA and LICIA_LUKE with respect to the LICIA_LEIA and LICIA_LEIA frames to be a rectangle with the corners defined by the first and last pixels of the first and last lines of the CCD and the boresight along the +Z axis of the LICIA_LEIA and LICIA_LUKE frames.
