PDS_VERSION_ID = PDS3 RECORD_TYPE = STREAM DATA_SET_ID = "ROS-E/M/A/C-SPICE-6-V1.0" PRODUCT_ID = "ERRATA" PRODUCT_CREATION_TIME = 2006-12-20 OBJECT = TEXT INTERCHANGE_FORMAT = ASCII PUBLICATION_DATE = 2007-01-10 NOTE = "Information about errors in this dataset" END_OBJECT = TEXT END This is a list of known errors within this dataset. 1. All labels for binary kernels (SPK, CK, binary PCK) miss the FILE_RECORDS keyword which is required if RECORD_TYPE is set to FIXED_LENGTH. 2. Although there is a value ("SPICE KERNELS") for the keyword INSTRUMENT_NAME specially made for SPICE, this keyword has been set to "N/A" for all the labels in this dataset. 3. The NAIF_INSTRUMENT_ID has been set to "N/A" for all the labels in this dataset, except for Instrument Kernels (IK). 4. Since for some SPICE kernels it is not appropiate to define a target (for instance, the LSK kernel), while for others the list of targets depends on the mission phase and can be very long, we have choosen to set the TARGET_NAME keyword to "N/A" in all labels. 5. Note that all the labels for the kernels in this dataset have SPACECRAFT_CLOCK_START_COUNT and SPACECRAFT_CLOCK_STOP_COUNT set to N/A. The authors of the dataset think that it is not appropiate to put a clock count value for a product that was generated on ground. 6. The mission phases dates are still not clear, but those ones previous to the release of the dataset are correct and will not change. Therefore the dataset can be safely used. 7. The coverage for the kernel ROS_SA_2008_V0038.BC ends on 2008-12-23. The last week of the year is not covered by the kernel because no telemetry was generated for those days.
