PDS data

     This ``aareadme.txt'' file describes contents of the `data'
     directory of the NAIF PDS data server. This is where SPICE
     data sets produced by NAIF and formally archived within the
     Planetary Data System (PDS) are placed. These data sets may
     be either complete--meaning the mission is over and no more
     data are planned to be added to the data set, or 
     "accumulating"--meaning that further additions are planned
     as the ongoing mission progresses.

     These data sets may be obtained directly from the PDS NAIF node
     using FTP. They are also available through the data search
     services of the PDS data catalog (http://pds.jpl.nasa.gov).
