Mars Pathfinder SPICE documentation
===================================

   This directory contains three documents. 
   
   The first document contains a list of NAIF IDs and names
   for the lander and its various structures and frames associated
   with them. The name of this document is MPF_IDS.TXT.
   
   The second, MPF_INSP.TXT, is the User's Guide for SPICE Inspekt
   program startup file, MPF_LAND.INS, which eases the viewing of
   the contents of MPF Sequence SPICE Event Kernel (EK) files by
   defining multiple macro commands for the most reasonable queries.
   This startup file is located under the DATA/EK/LANDER directory in this
   CD-ROM. This User's Guide is also applicable in general to the
   similar startup file, MPF_ROVR.INS, for the MPF Rover Sequence EKs
   located under the DATA/EK/ROVER subdirectory.
   
   The complete set of SPICE documentation describing SPICE Kernel
   file formats and the ways data in the kernels can be accessed using
   SPICE System Toolkit is located under 
   
         SOFTWARE/SUN_SLRS/TOOLKIT/DOC
         SOFTWARE/PC_WIN95/TOOLKIT/DOC
         
   subdirectories of this CD-ROM. Note that each of these subdirectories 
   contains an identical set of documentation.
   
   The third document, LBLINFO.TXT, describes location and naming of 
   the PDS labels in this data set.
