MSL IK files. =========================================================================== This ``aareadme.txt'' file describes contents of the kernels/ik directory of the MSL SPICE data server. It was last modified on June 10, 2013. Brief summary -------------------------------------------------------- This directory contains the SPICE I-Kernel files for the MSL science instruments. All files are in IEEE text format and must be copied using ftp ASCII transfer to any non-UNIX workstation. The following files are present in this directory. (Only file names are shown; the file name extensions of the text IK files are always ``.ti''): msl_IIIII_YYYYMMDD_cCC IK files for MSL cameras. In the file name, IIIII is the camera acronym: chrmi -- CHEMCAM RMI hbla -- HAZCAM, BACK, LEFT, A hblb -- HAZCAM, BACK, LEFT, B hbra -- HAZCAM, BACK, RIGHT, A hbrb -- HAZCAM, BACK, RIGHT, B hfla -- HAZCAM, FRONT, LEFT, A hflb -- HAZCAM, FRONT, LEFT, B hfra -- HAZCAM, FRONT, RIGHT, A hfrb -- HAZCAM, FRONT, RIGHT, B mahli -- MAHLI mardi -- MADRI ml -- MASTCAM, LEFT mr -- MASTCAM, RIGHT nla -- NAVCAM, LEFT, A nlb -- NAVCAM, LEFT, B nra -- NAVCAM, RIGHT, A nrb -- NAVCAM, RIGHT, B YYYYMMDD is the file creation date, and CC is the camera calibration ID. msl_IIIII_vVV IK files for other MSL instruments. In the file name, IIIII is the instrument acronym: aux -- temporary IK for FOVs for MSL instruments that don't yet have their own IKs (CHEMCAM LIBS, RAD, REMS, DAN, APXS, PADS, DRT, CHIMRA) struct -- antennas and VER is the file version. If multiple versions of an IK file are provided for an instrument, always use the latest version (unless earlier version is needed for some special reasons.)
