MRO PCK files. =========================================================================== This ``aareadme.txt'' file describes contents of the kernels/pck directory of the MRO SPICE data server. Brief summary -------------------------------------------------------- This directory contains the SPICE Planetary Constants Kernel files for the MRO spacecraft. All files are in IEEE text format and must be copied using ftp ASCII transfer to any non-UNIX workstation. The following files are present in this directory. (Only file names are shown; the file name extensions of the text PCK files are always ".tpc"): pck* The generic SPICE PCK file(s); If multiple versions of generic or special PCK Kernel file are provided, always use the latest version (unless earlier version is needed for some special reasons.) The latest (as of 09/12/04) generic PCK file pck00008.tpc provides IAU 2000 rotation constants for all Solar System bodies including Mars. PCK File Naming Schema. -------------------------------------------------------- The generic PCK file naming schema is as follows: pckVVVVV.tpc where VVVV is the version of the file (example: "00008" is version 8);
