Brief summary -------------------------------------------------------- This directory contains the SPICE I-Kernel files for the MRO spacecraft science instruments. All files are in IEEE text format and must be copied using ftp ASCII transfer to any non-UNIX workstation. The following files are present in this directory. (Only file names are shown; the file name extensions of the text IK files are always ".ti"): mro_crism_vNN MRO Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer for Mars (CRISM) IK file containing instrument mounting alignment and FOV geometry parameters; mro_ctx_vNN MRO Context Camera (CTX) IK file containing instrument mounting alignment and FOV geometry parameters; mro_hirise_vNN MRO High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) IK file containing instrument mounting alignment and FOV geometry parameters; mro_marci_vNN MRO Mars Color Imager (MARCI) IK file containing instrument mounting alignment and FOV geometry parameters; mro_mcs_vNN MRO Mars Climate Sounder (MCS) IK file containing instrument mounting alignment and FOV geometry parameters; mro_onc_vNN MRO Optical Navigation Camera (ONC) IK file containing instrument mounting alignment and FOV geometry parameters; mro_sharad_vNN MRO Shallow Radar (SHARAD) IK file containing instrument mounting alignment and FOV geometry parameters; If multiple versions of an IK file are provided for an instrument, always use the latest version (unless earlier version is needed for some special reasons.) IK File Naming Schema. -------------------------------------------------------- The MRO IK files naming schema is as follows: mro_IIIII_vNN.ti where IIIII is the instrument name (example: ``ctx''); NN is the file version (example: ``01'' for Version 0.1);
