KPL/FK This FK defines two JUNO-specific dynamic frames based on the Jupiter VIP4 magnetic pole and the Jupiter-Sun direction -- JUNO Jupiter Solar Magnetic Frame and JUNO Jupiter Solar Magnetic Frame. The JUNO Jupiter Solar Magnetic Frame -- JUNO_JUPITER_SUN_SM (note: SM stands for solar-magnetic), ID -61971 -- is defined as follows: - +Z axis is aligned with the North magnetic centered dipole of Jupiter, which is the +Z axis of the JUNO_MAG_VIP4 frame; - +X axis is the component of the Jupiter-Sun vector that is orthogonal to the +Z axis; - +Y axis completes the right-handed system; - the origin of this frame is the center of mass of Jupiter. The JUNO Jupiter Solar Magnetospheric Frame -- JUNO_JUPITER_SUN_BSM (note: BSM stands for body-solar-magnetospheric), ID -61972 -- is defined as follows: - +X axis is the position of the Sun relative to Jupiter; it's the primary vector and points from Jupiter to the Sun; - +Z axis is the projection of the magnetic centered dipole axis (positive North) of Jupiter (the +Z axis of the JUNO_MAG_VIP4 frame) onto the plane perpendicular to the +X axis. - +Y axis completes the right-handed system; - the origin of this frame is the center of mass of the Jupiter. Since both frames are dependent on the JUNO_MAG_VIP4 frame and the instantaneous position of the Sun as seen from Jupiter, the latest JUNO FK defining the JUNO_MAG_VIP4 frame (juno_v??.tf) and Planetary and Jovian system ephemeris SPKs containing data needed to compute the Jupiter-Sun vector (de???s.bsp, jup???.bsp) must be loaded in order to use this FK. This unofficial supplementary FK was created by Boris Semenov, NAIF on October 4, 2017 to support a WGC request from Ilja Honkonen, FMI. \begindata FRAME_JUNO_JUPITER_SUN_SM = -61971 FRAME_-61971_NAME = 'JUNO_JUPITER_SUN_SM' FRAME_-61971_CLASS = 5 FRAME_-61971_CLASS_ID = -61971 FRAME_-61971_CENTER = 599 FRAME_-61971_RELATIVE = 'J2000' FRAME_-61971_DEF_STYLE = 'PARAMETERIZED' FRAME_-61971_FAMILY = 'TWO-VECTOR' FRAME_-61971_PRI_AXIS = 'Z' FRAME_-61971_PRI_VECTOR_DEF = 'CONSTANT' FRAME_-61971_PRI_SPEC = 'RECTANGULAR' FRAME_-61971_PRI_VECTOR = ( 0 0 1 ) FRAME_-61971_PRI_FRAME = 'JUNO_MAG_VIP4' FRAME_-61971_SEC_AXIS = 'X' FRAME_-61971_SEC_VECTOR_DEF = 'OBSERVER_TARGET_POSITION' FRAME_-61971_SEC_OBSERVER = 'JUPITER' FRAME_-61971_SEC_TARGET = 'SUN' FRAME_-61971_SEC_ABCORR = 'NONE' FRAME_JUNO_JUPITER_SUN_BSM = -61972 FRAME_-61972_NAME = 'JUNO_JUPITER_SUN_BSM' FRAME_-61972_CLASS = 5 FRAME_-61972_CLASS_ID = -61972 FRAME_-61972_CENTER = 599 FRAME_-61972_RELATIVE = 'J2000' FRAME_-61972_DEF_STYLE = 'PARAMETERIZED' FRAME_-61972_FAMILY = 'TWO-VECTOR' FRAME_-61972_PRI_AXIS = 'X' FRAME_-61972_PRI_VECTOR_DEF = 'OBSERVER_TARGET_POSITION' FRAME_-61972_PRI_OBSERVER = 'JUPITER' FRAME_-61972_PRI_TARGET = 'SUN' FRAME_-61972_PRI_ABCORR = 'NONE' FRAME_-61972_SEC_AXIS = 'Z' FRAME_-61972_SEC_VECTOR_DEF = 'CONSTANT' FRAME_-61972_SEC_SPEC = 'RECTANGULAR' FRAME_-61972_SEC_VECTOR = ( 0 0 1 ) FRAME_-61972_SEC_FRAME = 'JUNO_MAG_VIP4' \begintext End of MK.
