Subject: [Spice_announce] New WebGeocalc Version 2.8.2

NAIF is pleased to announce the deployment of the new WebGeocalc (WGC)
Version 2.8.2 (5393 or 5392 N67 24-MAR-2025) on both NAIF's WGC servers:

         https://wgc.jpl.nasa.gov:8443/ (GUI only)
         https://wgc2.jpl.nasa.gov:8443/ (GUI and Web API)

This version features the updated Input Time widget in all scalar 
quantity and time conversion calculations. The updated widget

*  adds a selector for specifying the time system for step durations, 
allowing stepping in TDB, TDT (a.k.a. TT), or SCLK (when the input time 
system is SCLK),

*  adds more options for time sampling units for single interval and 
list of intervals -- "samples" for all input time systems, and "duration 
string" and "ticks" when the input time system is SCLK,

*  improves the time stepping algorithms to align them with input 
specifications ("equal intervals" is now available only for "Single 
Interval") and to reduce round off appearing on some platforms, and  

*  updates terminology and descriptions in the widget, its context 
help, and results header.

The new features available in the updated GUI Input Time widget have 
also been implemented in the API.
