SPICE Training Announcement
15 January 2020

A SPICE beginner’s training class will be hosted by Arizona State University on May 26/27, 2020. An estimated 15 - 20 seats will be available. If you are interested in being kept aware of this opportunity, please send email to the NAIF manager, Charles Acton:  charles.h.acton (at) jpl.nasa.gov. This class is expected to be somewhat similar to the traditional training classes offered by NAIF except that it will be compressed into two days. The exact topics to be covered are TBD.

The European Space Agency will host a three-day SPICE beginner’s class on June 16-18 at the ESAC facility outside of Madrid, Spain. Check ESAC’s SPICE website here for details:

The date and location of the next full (three-day) SPICE training class hosted by NAIF has not yet been determined. It’s likely to be held no earlier than the late Fall of 2020.

The SPICE self-training option is always available. It makes use of the same materials–tutorials and programming lessons–used in the live classes. Check the self-training web page for details:
