A special run was made to create an extended version of nep076, named nep076-long.bsp and covering to 2200. Its contents and coverage as summarized by "brief" are as follows: Summary for: nep076-long.bsp Bodies: EARTH BARYCENTER (3) EARTH (399) NEPTUNE (899) NEPTUNE BARYCENTER (8) TRITON (801) SUN (10) NEREID (802) Start of Interval (ET) End of Interval (ET) ----------------------------- ----------------------------- 1950 JAN 01 00:00:41.183 2200 JAN 01 00:01:06.183 The associated planet ephemeris is listed as de421, which only extends to 2050. That is why the nep076.bsp file ends at that time. To go beyond 2050 I needed to get the unreleased (and not to be released) de721 ephemeris from Bill Folkner, and use ngrps to insert J2000 as the reference frame so that it could be used in niospk. Bill does not want de721 to be publicly released or used internally for general purposes. CHA 10/24/2008
